2. What Questy is
Questy helps families build everyday routines. Children see their own tasks, mark them as done and save points for rewards the parent has agreed to.
Questy is a support tool for everyday routines, based on well-documented methods. It is not a medical device, and it does not replace diagnosis, treatment or advice from health or education professionals. If you are worried about your child, talk to a professional.
6. Premium
Premium adds your child’s own phone or tablet, another parent or carer, more children, backup and sync, and weekly trends. One subscription covers the whole family, even when one parent buys it.
Premium is a monthly or yearly subscription. The price is shown in the app and in Google Play or the App Store before you buy, in your currency and including VAT where it applies.
11. Your content
The names, tasks, routines and rewards you add belong to you. In the free version they stay on your phone. With Premium, we store them so we can provide the service and keep your family’s devices in sync. Everyone in your family can see the family’s shared content.
Do not use Questy for content that is unlawful, offensive or violates other people’s rights. Do not try to access other families’ data, disrupt the service, or copy, change or reverse engineer the app.
12. Rights to Questy
Questy, including the app, design, text, illustrations and the Questy method, belongs to Viable Labs. You get a personal, limited and non-transferable right to use Questy for your own family, not for commercial purposes.
14. Operation and changes to the service
We work to keep Questy stable and safe, and we update the app regularly. We cannot promise that Questy will always be available or free of errors.
If we stop offering Premium, we will tell you in good time. If you have paid for time you can no longer use, we will make sure you get a proportional refund.
15. Liability
Questy is a tool. It does not replace an adult’s attention and supervision, and we are not responsible for how tasks and rewards are followed up at home.
As far as the law allows, Viable Labs is not liable for indirect losses, such as data you have not backed up. This does not limit liability for gross negligence or intent, or your rights under mandatory consumer law.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection that mandatory law in your country gives you.
If you are not satisfied, contact us first, and we will try to find a solution. Consumers in Norway can also get help from Forbrukerrådet (the Norwegian Consumer Council). If a dispute goes to court, Oslo District Court is the venue, but as a consumer you can always bring a case where you live.
